Is this an Appeal to Privacy Fallacy or what?

Fan: I'm sorry, but you've marketed this channel for edgy contents and as someone who plays a character that exposes awful internet users. Why don't you do something about your girlfriend working as an onlyfans girl? She even admitted on Twitch that she would leave you for a hotter and richer guy once her opportunity arrives. At least made a poll to count those who disagrees with you insist on moving on from this direction, so us edgy fans can unsubscribe respectfully, instead of making this video, blindly defending your gf.

Fanboy: It's his relationship, not yours! Why do you care?

YouTuber: Her work doesn't concern me. You have no say on it and her since She and I have no personal connection whatsoever with you. I wasn't, aren't, will and have never been your role model. If this genuine stance of mine towards onlyfans girls disappoints you, you can immediately unsubscribe.

Replace above with > "I won't be and have never been your role model."

I must be far out of touch because I don't understand what this entire post means. To me, it might as well be gibberish. I have to list it as poor communication.

There’s been a lot of questions lately that have been rambling or unfocused, or as you put it, just plain gibberish.

[To Ed F]

I often find people dump text on here rather than try to structure their posts as to provide them with clarity - e.g. in the "person 1, person 2/A vs B" format. The result is that the rest of us have no idea what is even being said, or why the OP thinks there is a fallacy (hint - often there isn't).

Egregiously, some people also simply drop YouTube links, as if they were expecting us to watch a 25-minute video to "spot the fallacy" for them (they're supposed to be doing that...)

Then of course, you get the obvious homework questions. Every so often someone will make a post with a series of numbered statements and ask "where's the fallacy?" Dr Bo usually reminds these people about the purpose of the forum when such posts appear.

I do have to remind myself (and others) that it isn't always intentional - some people may be non-native in English (learning any language is a commendable effort, mind you) which would excuse the occasional typo or punctuation error. But I assume for most OPs, it's a matter of carelessness. I'd encourage those to whom the latter statement applies to take the time to format their posts properly -  if we can't understand it, we can't help!

Very true.  Sometimes even the regulars abbreviate what they say so you have to try to fill in the gaps.
